Wireless power transfer: a review

Abstract - The ubiquitous nature and the proliferation of mobile devices has made wireless power transfer (WPT) a very important area research. flexibility cost effectiveness charging these enormous in our world without having to connect physically any electrical port especially when user is indisposed do so attractive characteristic WPT. Conventional means batteries are wired which invariably meansthey requirephysical connection sources through cables. Electric istransmitted wirelessly magnetic field produced by inductive coupling coils or capacitive between electrodes transferred over short distance air interface later received an antenna for utilisation. This article gives detailed review existing technologies, principles operation, applications opportunities future research this emerging technology. However, WPT some drawbacks but it disruptive technology with ability revolutionise dynamics systems, internet things otherallied technologies.
